puddle of what kind of liquid?? I just went thru a leak issue times 2 due to my own ignorance and stupidity. I had the usual vaccum leak due to the paper gasket under the fuel rail on the 4.0 OHV and replaced it and the upper intake gasket but not the injector orings...so the orings leak...DOH!!! So apart it all came again and new orings went on...no leak since... *knock on wood*

if it is oil, then you have problems......oil shouldn't be in the intake period....

it is a leak that was able to mix with the radiator fluid.....however tht happens...

if you have oil and antifreeze mixed together, then you have a blown head gasket....

for sure, or even worse (and in my case) warped and cracked heads. has your motor ever gotten really hot, like in the red of the temp. gauge? also, check your oil, is it kinda milky? you will notice a distinct difference, it's actually whiteish.

..oddly my motor has never gotten tht hott. and i have checked my oil level tons of times and it looks like motor oil..(kinda general i kno...) but it does not have tht milky look.......

your heads don't have to get that hot....if your engine is at normal operating temp and you run through a deep puddle of water or spray water on the engine it can warp the heads...
