Need radiator- 03 XLT, 4.0, 4wd
Haven't been here in a while. Luckily, no problems with my 03....until now, lol. I've been smelling antifreeze for about a month, with a slow leak, but I couldn't find the leak. Yesterday, the leak finally showed itself, and I found coolant leaking from the radiator should. So I'm assuming the rad is shot.
Has anybody found an upgraded radiator for these things ? All I can find is 1 core, with plastic tanks. I'd prefer at least 2 cores, and metal tanks, but I'm sure that's impossible to find. Anyway, any thing better than stock out there ? Any brands better that others?
TIA !!!!

The stock radiator is just fine. Don't really need a bigger one. You could always use one from another vehicle. Or you could run an oil cooler here is the thread for the mod. Cheap Oil Cooler Modification : The Ranger Station

Thanks, but I found an aftermarket triple core, all aluminum. Might be a little overkill, but it'll give me an excuse to play with an e-fan set up again. The stock radiator could not keep her cool with the e-fan. Hopefully, this one can.
