Icon5 any decent sounding mufflers for my 2000 4.0L

every time i watch ranger videos with an exhaust system it makes me wanna get one, but which one? is there any exhaust that sounds throaty and not so v6ish? i want a nice sounding exhaust that i could hear but not too loud, any ideas for brands? Borla, Flows, Thrust?

thanks for suggestions,

Im happy with the my magnaflow/slp setup. Nothing will get rid of that v6 rasp, every muffler will have just not enough growl to it.

You'll get a hundred different answers. I really like Gibson but they are more expensive.

I just installed the MBRP kit, it's throaty and resonates a little. So far though 2 people aside from me like it and the GF says it sounds a little ricey due to that whole raspy thing mentioned before.

I'll post pics up tomorrow as I just got home and didn't take pics when installing it.

One thing I also wanna mention is, it's how the person drives it that's gonna make it sound bad. If I stand on it WOT, it's gonna sound like ***. And that is any system. We have v6's. They will always be just that a v6. I was leaving work and kept my foot outta it shifting at 2500 rpms and it wasn't overpowering or annoying.

I have a flowmaster 40 series with a 2.5" from the cats back...I love it, but it's no V8.
