K&N Problem

i'm running stock exhaust and i just installed the K&N FIPK2 on my 4.0 yesterday and after driving with it today ive discovered that the motor seems to bog a little if i punch it from a dead or if trying to downshift to pass....but if i back off on the throttle and slowly add it takes off normaly. and it also doesnt spin the tires over like it did, on dirt or pavement im confrused....whats the deal?

Sounds like the MAF isnt hooked up right, or is dirty. Are you sure the Line going from the intake tube to the valve cover is connected properly? Sounds like a vac leak. Make sure the MAF is pointing the correct direction too!

the only things that were required to disconnect/reconnect in the install were the MAF, crank case breather, and the temp sensor......everything is tight and sealed on the intake but i'll go back over it and check today. i'm also going to clean the MAF in the next day or so and replace all my 02 sensors.

make sure you disconnect the battery for at least a solid 20 min. I did that once and it wasnt long enough. I then re did it and it worked.
