any ford has is change the fliud in the pump a few times it helps but will never go away

silverbullet32 04-29-2009 07:25 AM

Synthetic ATF

Some say add Lucas PS stuff

Some say add "some" Limited Slip Differential friction modifier

Mine is quiet(er) with synthetic. I sucked out the old, added new, drove, repeat until I used up a full quart. Maybe 3 or 4 go arounds. There are other ways, I'm lazy.

I've seen a mod where the pump is replaced with a "Saginaw" pump.
