I've beat a Ram 1500 Daytona 2 door with the 5.7 HEMI.

my dad had an 01' dakota w/ a 4.7L, Little less tourqey than the 318, but he could take my 4.o easily.

I raced my step bro's ext cab 5 speed 318 and he had he was running it off the headers, but i still beat him pretty good

I kept a truck length ahead of a stock mega cab Cummins 2500 all the way to 80MPH the other day from a red light. :P

This guy has one HELL of an ignition system to knock a second and a half off his times..

From what I have seen, and looking at MANY sites.. A Dakota R/T averages about 15 flat. This is the same as a S/C 4.0 SOHC/Stick Ranger. Its ALLEDGED someone ran a 14.8 on Factory Wrangler tires and just disconnecting the exhaust and opening the airbox.

I think its going to come down to the drive and launch more then anything else. Whom Hooks - Wins.

Well once I get full exhaust and an offical tune through a guy that does Lightnings all day long on my F150 I hope to be about mid 13's with some grippy tires. So them Kotas are pretty quick it seems.

Anyway, only truck I had a problem with in my 4.0 with mods was a taco. I won but not by much.
