Well I need to change my thermostat today and so I know I have got drain some of the fluid out to do that. What kind do I put back in when I go to refill it? I just dont want to put in the wrong stuff.
Thanks |
On a 2000 model you won't hurt anything with the non-silicant types.
What ever suits you is fine. Rich |
Okay well I got one other question for you guys...I decided I would go ahead and flush it and replace it. Now in the manual it says I need to back flush the heater core..well I couldnt figure out how to do this. What do I need to do? Can I just refill it and go ahead with it or what? Thanks guys for the help.

Please help! I gotta get to work...lol

You don't have to back flush it.
If you have the time you ought to though. Just dis-connect the hoses on the firewall and use a water hose to flush out any debris that might be in there. Rich |
THanks for the help..I got it straight...I appreciate it!
