Engine Hard Starting

Engine Hard Starting
Any ideas on what might be causing my engine to be hard starting after it sits for an extended period of time. I had the battery and altenator checked by advance....everything is in good condition. I thought maybe bad gas...put some octane booster in it along with dry gas....still isn't helping. Possibly the fuel pump ? Truck is a 2006 XLT 4.0, haven't even had it a year...only has 10000 miles on it....still under warranty. Just trying to help out service tech before I take it back to the ford garage.

You know what.. I have an 06 4.0L and last winter it was getting progressivly harder and harder to start. It felt to me just like dirty intake valves and/or dirty injectors. So, I switched to shell 93 "V power" for about 3-4 tank fulls. I run shell 93 nearly all the time now (have an x-cal w/93 tunes) & it's been fine ever since.
btw, at the time I had about 7-8k miles on the truck.

When I mean hard starting...it cranks a couple times before it starts....I had it to the Ford Dealership they said its not throwing any codes....and said they would have to hear/see what I am talking about before they can work/replace any parts on it. It didn't do it for about two weeks then it just started back up doing it again when I filled up. I run 89 or 93 octane in it. Not sure what it could be....never did this before it always fired right up when I turned key...didn't have to crank a couple times before it started.
