Rev Limiter.

Anyone ever try and remove the rev limiter on the newer autos? i guess that would void the warranty too eh?

You can remove it by getting a SCT tuner.

With the SCT you can raise the limits. I don't recall being able to turn them off? I'm sure the tuner himself can do it.

btw, you can raise both limts. In Neutral and in gear. 4100rpms is the max for in N, & I think it's 7200 for in gear.

I've got mine set at 4100 and 6500 along with higher shift points.

Talk to fred at rogue performance. Ask him about a data log tune also! I did it and it was a HUGE difference in my truck over a canned tune. I moved the Rev limit to 6200 something. Anything higher, the power noticably dropped off.
