Same casting number, different heads?

I had the shop find me a head to replace my cracked one, so they did and they rebuilt it. So I got it back last night. Well, today I decided to put my motor back together and I put the heads in place. I went to torque the bolts down when I noticed that the intake ports were different sizes and the coolant passages were not the same. Has anyone heard of this before? The casting numbers seem to be identical, but the heads are not! It lined up on the block, and the headbolts threaded in too. I was lucky I caught it before I torqued those head bolts down. The intake gasket is way too big for this head.
The pics I have show the casting number. "C8S1A". Is this the correct number that I should be looking at? The head on the block is the correct head and the stand alone head picture is the one that is mismatched.
