Autolite double plats

I keep reading that these are the plugs I should get for my ranger. It's a 4.0L V6 SOHC.

I searched but cant find a model that fits my Ranger. Maybe I'm just blind, but what is the model number I need?

Frank

Nevermind... just checked your profile and saw 2010. I don't see double platinum listed for it!

It's a 2010 4.0L V6 SOHC.

EDIT: Saw your post. What plugs would you recommend for my truck?

How about the Motorcraft SP-440 plugs? They are double plats.

From experience, I wouldn't get the autolites. Just put motorcraft back it.

I finally found the part number and ordered them.

How hard are they to change in this truck? I haven't yet.

Thanks

Driver side is relatively easy. Passenger side is more difficult. I've found it easiest to access by going under the PS inner fender with the wheel/tire removed.

Side note: why replace them on a 2010? The OE plugs should go 120~150,000 km, no problem.

Backups. I buy backups for all my vehicles, snowmobiles, boat motors, just in case something happens.

I also bought the Screamin' Demon coil and wires. I'll need to take mine out and re-gap to .065".

Yeah, pull the inner plastic fender liner and they are right in your face, really easy.
