Spark plug wires

How often should they be replaced? The book says 100k on the plugs but I think thats too long and I don't see the wires lasting that long either.

Well assuming everything is running good, 100k seems appropriate. I would pull the plugs and put some anti-seize on them so they are easier to come out when they get replaced.

Well looking back I did plugs/wires at 66k & 113k. So that is right around 60k. I have had better luck with just running motorcraft plugs. If I use the random brands they tend to foul easier.

I'd change them everytime you change the plugs. If you don't, Murphy's law will kick in. You'll end up ruining one of the wires trying to get it off the plug.

Well thats what happend when I did it the first time. It was my first time pulling plugs and I ripped the boot right off of the connector. So therefore, new wires...

Why not change the wires when you get new plugs? I did mine at 63k and I felt that that was too long.
