Still crank no start condition

So I still have a crank no start condition. But even though I was for sure I was getting fire. I decided to pull my spark plugs to check them out. Everyone was wet like they were not firing. But I left two of them out of the engine block and left them plugged up to the plug wires cause I wanted to see if they were firing. So I set them up to where I could see both of them while cranked the engine and both of them had plenty of fire. So why would my plugs be firing but be wet and still not start my engine????

Touch a match to the wet plugs to make sure they're wet with gas.

Well actually I put a lighter to them. None of them lid up. Kinda made me think it was more water than gas.

I guess you're boxed into one course of action.
1) Syphon drain your gas tank
2) Run the fuel pump with the Schrader valve open or with the fuel line otherwise disconnected
3) Run until nothing comes out then chase some known good fuel through it.
4) Button things up and try it.
Good luck
Descriptions of how you got bad fuel could help others avoid this.

Well it's really very simple as to how this might have happened. You see I took my bed off my truck to pull the fuel pump. I had already drained the tank cause when my truck went down on me I suspected water in the fuel. Whole other story but anyway. I pulled fuel pump and didn't cover the hole on the tank. I left to go do something in town. Just as I'm about to be home, it came a typhoon. So I didn't think it got that much rain in it before I covered it up. But maybe it did. Thanks for your help.
