hey guys, i joined this forum a couple of weeks ago. I put my 94' in the shop to fully rebuild the motor. the question at hand is if i should turbo the truck or not? we already put in a bigger cam, lifters, valves, and so on. what kind of turbo could i throw in the truck to make it insane? I'm tryng to make it keep up with my 96' viper.. TIA GUYS!!!!!

yeah just put in a srt10 motor and twin turbo it..

 

You would have better luck finding a 83-88 for Thunderbird turbo coupe and dropping in that engine

It is a 2.3 but I have rode in a ranger with one and it is insanely fast.

Also match it up with a 5 speed and it is helluva good time

 

Trucks have a hard time being fast because they are basically a big loaf a bread high up in the air.

Why not just build a nice turbo car that can beat your viper?
