Hello, I'm new in this forum and I have a question about a swap. I have a 94 ranger 4x4 XLT Extended cab with the 3.0 engine and a 5 spd tranny. I have a buddy with a 93 2x4 with a 4.0 and an automatic. My motor is bad in my truck and the tranny in the 2x4 is bad. He wants to sell me the truck for a good price. What all is required to swap the 4.0 into my truck, I've already swaped the 3.0 out once until I burnt this one up. I am capable of doing this swap but I'm not really sure what all is necessary. I will really appreciate any help and input!

 

Just take everything out of the other truck and put it in that one. Hell the motor mounts might be the same I.E. - engine, tranny, wiring harness and a/c
