Throttle cable on throttle body, how do i remove?

Hello, i wanna remove my ranger 2000 4.0L throttle cable from the throttle body so i can pull it off and clean it, but i have no clue how i can do that, and i dont wanna force it to risk to break it.

the clip on the end just pulls off of the round post on the t/b put a screwdriver behind it and twist

Added some pbblaster, twisted between and it popped out easily, thanks.

That hose output literally had a plug of carbon... not sure how the truck still worked great.

So i have cleaned the MAF IAC and TB, the ultragauge is showing a MPG loss! :sigh:
