wtf, i hit the gov in mine more then a few times, but there is nothing that feels unstable about the truck at 90-92...it actually feels real solid. im not sure what is wrong with your trucks but mine felt solid as ****.

the only time i felt a little scared behind the wheel of a car was when i hit 156mph in my 98 cobra when i had it.

not saying going this fast is safe, nor am i saying its something everybody should do...but i like going fast...so sue me...lol.

Yeah they really don't need to go that fast. I had to try it out though. I hit 107(GPS) on a skinny 2 lane road with no swaybar.... It was scary. Even with the limiter turned off though, thats all it would do. I don't recommend it.

i have taken my 98 Cobra which was a very solid car over 130mph numerous so i know how it feels to take a good car fast...but like i said, my Ranger felt solid at 92mph and id do it again.

In SCT's tuning software, the speed limiter "limits the speed of the driveshaft". I have read somewhere on RPS that speeds of 120 mph will easily bend the driveshaft and prolonged speeds at 110 mph could possibly bend the driveshaft, whether they were takling about the steel or aluminum driveshafts I am not sure.

deerfoot is a horrible hiway, most all roads in calgary are discusting, calf robe bridge is a horrible bridge too... 3 problems with it, 1) the expansion gap at each end of the bridge has a massive bump that you hit, which does not help traction, 2) the entrance and exit from the bridge, both sb and nb, are around corners, again does not help traction and 3) it is right next to the waste water treatment, so the water that re-joins the bow river is hot, and the steam causes that bridge to almost always be wet and/or icy

nb deerfoot 17th or memorial is the only place i really do much speed... and even then i only hit 130 at the most in my truck...

Yeah, I can see in the stock tune that the limiter is set at 94 mph, however it never worked.

Even with my new truck the fastest I have driven was 95 today while passing some cars. I think the Arnold(<---LOL) is at 107 or 117. Not sure. Will I ever go that fast? Probably not.

Lol

Got my stock '01 Explorer Sport up to 102 on I-26 between Charleston and Columbia at 3AM once. Then I hit the RPM limiter and almost broke my damn leg. She'll hold on cruise control at 100, the computer puts the pedal on the floor. She rides smooth though
