yeah my 01 just rolled to 32 and I'm going to schedule today to have mine done. Hopefully tomorrow. You have to remember what the fluids in your engine go through. the lifeblood of your engine.

I just did the rear transfer case fluid....should I do the front as well? It's in 4x4 about.....4 times a year lol

Stop the truck when you see bright red fluid comming out of the line out. Connect all of your lines back up to the t-cooler and top of the tranny... less mess and alot faster than the old skool way.

Which is the line-in and which is the line-out? I'm assuming the trans cooler is the mini radiator behind the front bumper.

well i talked to the Ford dealer today....they're currently running a special on tranny fluid changes.....if you consider $130 a special.

I'll do it myslef. I can just drain it from the tranny drain bolt itself and refill it right? That might sound like a stupid question, but I'd better ask before I make a stupid costly mistake.

I don't think there is a drain bolt....Go buy some rtv, a filter, and gasket kit from the local auto parts store and take that pan off! I did about 4k miles ago, I think I'm gonna flush the entire system now.

Edit: I guess if you had a manual tranny there'd be a plug.
