2003 4.0 sohc Ranger runs rough
I just bought a 2003 Ranger with a 4.0. It was tagged as bad motor/ dead cylinder. I drove it home but runs very rough. The engine temp was fine, the oil pressure good. It had a couple of codes P2195 O2 Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Lean Bank 1 Sensor 1 and P0171 system to lean bank 1. I cleared out codes ran engine some more and cel came back on with p0171 and p0174 which are both lean conditions for 02 sensors. I checked fuel pressure about 65/70 lbs running. I have changed coil, plugs and wires. it is a little better but still runs very rough.I used my timing light to check spark on each wire and 3,4,5,6 all had a good flashing light. 2 was sending morse code, and 1 did nothing that was before I changed plugs and wires, after changing cyl 2 flashed ok like the rest and still nothing on cyl 1. I checked for a cracked vacuum hose did not see anything, I sprayed starting fluid/ brake clean all around with motor running and no change.
Any help would be great and what direction to go next

Would ecm set a code?
I have 65-70lbs fuel pressure with engine running.
New coil, plugs, wires
When I use my timing light and clip to each wire I get no light flash off #1 before plugs and wires #2 was flashing like it was sending morse code and now flashes like others.
I used noid light to check injector pulse on #1 and it was flashing.

my mistake-just misunderstood. so you are getting response from injector and cyl 1 now that you did the coil wires and plugs. so it is getting receiving a signal. timing is not adjustable so its not like its firing at wrong times.. sorry just thinking aloud lol.
i suppose the next step is to get a compression test. timing is not adjustable so its not like its firing at wrong times..
just if you were curious on the specs for fuel pressure-the 03 ranger 4.0 is 64psi +/- 8

Are you sure about that. My 2002 4.0 SOHC engine has that rubber 90 elbow that connects to the hard PCV tube under the top radiator hose. Mine cracked and caused it to idle rough and would die if idled too long. Replacing it resulted in a smooth running engine again.

I have a 97 with the 4.0L and its running similar, I just cleaned the throttle body, MAF and check all hoses. I have a few...O2 upstream codes, I also had some O2 sensors replaced and thats when I started to have this problem.
Think your truck could be having similar issues? Any codes getting thrown?
