Video

Here is a vid of My 02 Ranger 4.0L. I have NO MUFFLER , form the cats back, and 2.5 duel exhaust coming out the side at a 45 degree angle.

To all the guys and gals out there with flowmasters and magnaflows is this louder then yours (better or worse) and do you think if I put on a 40 series or magnaflow could I still get a sound that is equal to this one

yours is louder then mine that is for sure. I run a single side magnaflow. It sounds kinda the same though with the low rumble when ya let off the gas. I havent heard the magnaflow duals though so I think they would sound the same.

Im running the same thing as you Jake 2.5 piping from the cats all the way back, yours sounds alot more bubbly than mine, mine sounds smoother, i wonder why that is.

I love the sound of no mufflers in the lower rpms(especially dumped). When the engine revs it gets too raspy. Aftermarket mufflers smoothen the raspiness, but get rid of that lower rpm growl.

I'm looking for a good in between, I'm running resonated tips right now....I'm content for now.....mostly because I have no money to spend on toys, lol.

I like the sound of the magnaflow setup. It's sounds similer to my buddies straight pipe setup on his 2004 ranger. I just got a glasspack on my ranger and it's really quite. wish it was a little louder. Maybe I should get the magnaflow cat-back I read about today at work. It's good for a 14HP gain.

im having the last 2 feet of my tail pipes changed with my 4'' Round 22'' Long tips , having it come out on the sides, everyone has the out the back in my area, itll b the first one with tha tbig of tips out the side!!, i have to do something different, its time for a change on my truck!
