Does anyone know if the CherryBomb Glasspack will void my warranty on my 2004 Ranger XLT. Also what are your thoughts on the Glasspack

glass pack will make your truck sound like a tractor....
and im sure it could void warrenty.... if you go in for a problem with anything relating to the exhaust....

just keep the stock muffler if you are worried about voiding warrenty and swap em out if ya have to go in for work

It won't void the warranty. You can modify your exhaust system from the cats back and it is fine. The aftermarket exhaust won't be covered by the factory warranty though. I have a cherry bomb on my '96 4.0 ohv and I am not all that impressed. I really like the flowmaster 50 series on my '03 4.0 sohc. What is your engine?

it is pretty loud and has a rough tone. I like the Flowmaster 50 series because it sounds stock at idle, but you get a nice throaty growl above 3k rpms and at start up.

I heard the 40 series on Fx4wannabe's truck and it was a little too loud for my taste, but I am a little older so i like a quite cab on a freeway drive.

BLAH! You are an old dude. This guys exhaust is stealth looking....it looks stock.....but it's 2.5" and a flowmaster. I love it. I have a Super40 currently on the truck. BTW Kyle, I'm going louder.

Do you want a loud exhaust....or a beefier, performance exhaust sound?? ALot of people seem to like Maganaflow and Borla. But I'm REALLLLLLY bias towards Flowmaster 40 series muffs. Original(the really loud one) is going on next....followed by si/do Super 44 diamond plate for the final setup(for now).

I've had a Dynomax Ultra Flo Oval..and was a great sounding muff, but wasn't loud enough for me. It's a straight through muffler...and it gave good gas mileage and good power. Flowmasters tend to eat up a little bit of power & mileage.

I wish i got pics of my friends ranger with a side exit rice (fart) can. Sounded like ****.

Of course the truck is totaled, rolled it 4 times, then into a pole. But the muffler stayed on?

I've always liked the sound, and performance of the magnaflows.
