5.0 quetions

Alright since my ranger bent the crank, and its cheaper for me in my spot to get a new truck, i'm looking into my friends truck, its a 150 302 auto with 4WD, i was just wander in what kinda gas mileage would that get, and how reliable would the engine be and if the trannies for that would be for that truck its like a 91thanks

My 94 f150 with a 5.0/AODE 2wd gets 10-12mpg. I hate it.

eh not too bad, my ranger was getign 12.6 for a while,

Yeah your probably not going to get more then like 14 max.

my 97 4x4 5.4 ford gets about 7-8 per gallon

yeah i'm not lookin for much gas milage with it but now he wants more for it so i don't think its gonna happen now

97 f150

i have the 4.6 auto with 237,00 miles and i get 17 mpgs on the road. extended cab and bed cover, i think it pretty good, most 302 in good condition should get around that or better

yeah depends i guess, i didn't get the f150 since he decided he wanted more, but i got a nice 92 3.0 ranger i love it so much more power than my old 2.3 i didn't even have to use third gear climing the mountain.
