5.0 swap ranger lean issues
5.0 swap ranger lean issues
Hey guys i 5.0 swapped my ranger, and i have been chasing a lean condition at idle for about 2 weeks
Things Done to possibly fix issues
-spark plus
-coil pack
-coil wires
-new fuel filter
-cleaned maf
-clean air temp sensor
-iac replaced
-fuel pump sending unit completely replaced
-engine coolant sensor
-new fuel injectors from.ebay
-new delphi fuel regulator
Fuel pressure at idle reads at abou 29 to 30 and climbs around 3 or 4 psi at 1,500 rpm
when fuel Regulator is disconnected it reads 40 spi
Long term fuel trim at idle
Bank 1 2.4%
Bank 2 5.5%
At 2,500 rpm
bank 1 goes between -2.3% - 0.00%
bank 2 goes between -3.6% - 0.00%
Short terms at deceleration reach - 14.00%
Short terms at idle are between -3.6$ - 3.2$ on both banks
Engine also backfires at deceleration ata round 1,500 to 2,500 rpm
Idles around 650 to 700 rpm
My MPG is like around 12
