5.0L Screamin Demon Coils??
 

Im kinda curious, do they make screamin demon coil packs for the 5.0L explorer motor? If so, where? I was trying to find some but Im not finding anything. :puppy_dog

This is probably a stupid question and it probably has been answered before but im getting frustrated with searching for it lol Thanks for the help.

I've never seen them made my screamin demon before, but I'm pretty sure MSD makes a higher output coil.

yeah I've been told to buy the MSD kit or the Accel one that will work. Any reason you want to Chris? or just cause haha.

Well I enjoyed my Screamin Demon Coil Pack on my 3.0 motor and thought maybe I could get a better Coil Pack for the 5.0 for better spark and maybe perhaps better gas mileage or performance.. I know its VERY little but every little bit helps and it adds up too ;) Plus if i decide I want to mod the crap out of this motor then I wont have to worry about beefing up my coils later on down the road :biglaugh:

Also does stickers add horsepower?? what color makes you go the fastest? ;)

Maybe instead of looking into a higher output coil which will run you some bucks, check out a digital ignition box. Multi spark style. Summit makes a couple nices ones and would give you more performance and range in the future without to much price increase.

or you could get a ditributer and splice the connector from a 96-97 harness... if that would work.

They do make them - I know, because I saw an add on them at Underdog's ranger site - Was most definitely the screamin demon for the 5.0

Ill just buy 2 of these...
