Icon5 99 Ranger 2.5 V8 fuel pump wiring

I have all my wiring done but can't figure out the fuel pump wiring ?? It tells me to run a wire to the inertia switch but I'm not really shire what wire ??

The factory wire from the Inertia Switch to the stock fuel pump is pink/black. That wire is already present at the tank unit so I don't see the need to run a new one.

I have the harwood manual and it tells me to run a Gr/yel strip wire to the Gr/Yel wire on my inertia but it does not go into explanation I don't get any signal when it's not hooked up ?

In the factory 1999 wiring, the DG/YE goes from the Fuel Pump Relay to the Inertia Switch.
