well last night i found a 98 moutaineer on cl and bought it for $1200 runs and drives great but a tree fell on the roof and put a hole in it and busted the sunroof so he just welded a piece of sheet metal over it and used it on his deer lease...so my 5.0 swap into my 2001 edge 4x4 is almost becoming now reality since i finally found what i needed as a donor vehicle at a good price...the motor has 146,000 on it...it runs great but if im gonna be putting it in my truck i want it rebuilt so i know all the guts have been replaced...so my ? is what performance mods should i go with as far a boring it over what are good pistons to run,,cam, intakes...not cai...and have yall used ur existing transfer case with the advance adapers plate??? instead of the awd or f150 case...im gonna start pulling the motor and tranny out this weekend...im like a little kid right now just itching to order parts but wanting a little guidance as far as my choices and what i should go with..thanks in advance
