I would think that the biggest problem you would have would be to get it in the engine bay. Most of the wiring shouldn't be too bad. I have been pondering over this one as well cause I am thinkin about swaping the 3V 4.6L out of my Mustang and putting a Mach 1 DOHC 4.6L in there. Then maybe messing around and putting the 3V into my 07 Ranger. I am wondering if the wiring behind the engie bay is compatible and if not, what kind of harnesses will I need. I know the new Explorers and Mustangs come with the 4L and the 3V 4.6L and I wouldnt think the harnesses would be too different.

It will fit, it will work. But you have to be very mechanically inclined. Very.
Plus you need a lot of tools. Welder, and so on...
If I were to install one for someone, they'd be spending at least $5,000 just on labor. At least.
