Just as everyone said, The 7.3 powerstroke is heavy. So heavy infact, i had one crush the pallet it was sitting on as I drove it to my customers trailer, and it rolled off the forks of my hilo as it was 3 foot in the air falling flat onto the valve covers and turbo.

The turbo made it fine, but the valve covers flattened out and all the plastic went shooting like birdshot.

Just setting a powerstroke in the back of a ranger makes it squat low enough to where it worries me, imagine how deep that frame would twist once you put any pressure on the pedal.

If you look around, you might be able to find some of those old ranger/escort diesel engines here in america. Try some of the southern yards in TX, CA, NM.
