Yeah thats ok, cause its gonna look like this first. Which happens to be the guy building it, and the worlds fastest powerstroke now.

Then its gonna look like this but black and smaller:

San Antonio will be the test track, but the events for the DHRA are nation wide. Big Houston event Oct 13-14.

I leave for Wyoming in the last week of September, and wont be back 'till christmas, then I leave again, you think it will be done by then end of September? probably not...

Using the stock frame, Back halfing it, and reinforcing it big time. Also a 14 point cage will help a lot.

On its way to California, stop 1 Slidell LA

I bought it a trailer to live on, now its starting out from Florida

Made its way up to the panhandle where the NHRDA had an 1/8th mile race

Now its in Slidell LA going to make its way to Houston, then AUstin, then California

Do you have a goal in mind in the way of 1/4 times and trap speed? Nice project!

We know it will run 10's, we are really hoping for better than that. Trap speeds, dunno, but with less than will be done to the motor in this truck, there are full size 8000 pound trucks running low 12's, at traps over 112. This thing is gonna be around 3500 pounds on the heavy side. The math says its gonna be stupid fast.

With the added Powertrain weight, roll cage, etc.. It is going to be a stretch to get the weight down to 3500lbs. These late Rangers are HEAVY. My 1999 302 V8 / 4R70W, full option, 4x4 is 4520lbs. My friend's 1998 2 door extended cab 302 / tremec 4x2 is ~4100lbs.

SInce about 10K miles I have gotten consistently 14.5-15.5 regardless of how I drive, and depending on summer or winter blend of Diesel. Diesels get great mileage. Seeing that it weighed on a Cat scale 7840 without me in it, thats phenomenal. Also, when I tow my boat and trailer at 10,000 #'s it still gets 12.

Hell, I am almost Green.
