I bought the block on jegs.com, and yeah I highly doubt that you will find this block on a junkyard. I don't want to be rude but I have done everything you can think of to the engine look at the pictures that i posted If you have knowledge about engines you'll see that the internals are forged, heads are not stock ect ect...

Anything but stock. I highly doubt there are any Ford production parts in that engine at all. The block is from Ford Racing, but has never been used in production.

boost the 3.0?

ya i hear you man, but so does anyone know about just straight up turbo charging the 3.0? that was another possibility, but it'd be good to hear from someone that's done it just to get some words of wisdom. but it didn't seem to be TOO difficult, of course on paper everything is easy. but i know ford makes a turbo kit for the probe, and that's the same engine, but i think the exhaust manifolds and bolt patters are different. but anybody else know or have any advise? just can't live with the little 3.0- too underpowered and just not sure what to do yet, either v8 or boost it.

The 3.0s don't like boost. You would like it, lol, but it wouldn't. The head gaskets blow out on them. Thats why a lot of people with the Whipples have removed them. If you do boost it though, I would highly recommend swapping out head bolts for stronger ARP bolts or studs.

These pictures don't do justice to the awesome work that they did.
I'll probably start it up within two weeks, I have to reroute my fuel lines and finish some minor stuff.

^^ sorry for taking long to respond, i've been busy at work and on the truck.
The turbo compressor and turbine wheel size I really don't know but I'll find out for you(I don't have a clue when it comes to turbochargers specs). And the old block cracked becuase it was a 347 stroker and with all the goodies plus it was untuned and I beat the crap out of it for like 900 miles( Yeah I know I'm an idiot)

It's been a little while since I haven't posted anything new but that's because I got out of a surgery that I was supposed to do years ago, ( I'm a wuss when it comes to hospitals especially surgery) but I'm recovering just fine. Anyways b4 the surgery I changed a few things since I want POWER .

I went from this......

Size: 68.8 KB

To this. It's an 05 and up slot type MAF and it's from HPX which is capable of 1000HP I like it!!!!.....

Size: 121.0 KB
Name: SNC00198.jpg
Views: 278
Size: 120.8 KB

And also I changed my injectors for 42 lbs to 80 lbs high impedance injectors of course!!

42 lbs injectors....
Name: SNC00230.jpg
Views: 289
Size: 140.7 KB

80 lbs injectors...
Name: FILE0012.jpg
Views: 285
Size: 116.9 KB

80 lbs vs 42 lbs.....
Name: SNC00231.jpg
Views: 281
Size: 217.2 KB

80 lbs vs 42 lbs nozzle...
Name: SNC00232.jpg
Views: 285
Size: 92.8 KB

Now the truck barely starts of course since it's been flooded LOL( I only attempted to start it just one time). Hopefully by the end of next week I'll take it to a dyno shop if not definitely within 2 weeks. I'm dying to see what it can do!!!
But my tuner told me that with these injectors and that MAF I could be making 900 horses( with a lot more boost than just 10 lbs)
