New member. 5.0 swap DONE!

Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from MN. I just finished up my 5.0 swap in my 2000 ex cab 4x4 ranger. Only real mods are the dual exhaust and the 93 cobra intake. The EGR is currently blocked off .I'm have an EGR pipe made to fit the new intake. For the exhaust I bought brand new explorer cats an down pipes. I'm have Heartthrob exhaust here make me w dual in/out welded muffler and tail pipes. When the EGR is hooked up it will be 100% emissions legal. Runs and drives great .

i will post some more later today. In have to hey the motorcraft plug wires on it and clean up the bay a little.

Did you have to do a body lift or is that stock height?

Stock height. Truck uses the stock fuel system stock suspension. Stock everything. The goal was for it to look and drive like it came from Ford that way. Minus the dual exhaust.

The exhaust is on. I ran true dual into dual inlet dual outlet welded turbo muffler. It sounds awesome but is still quiet. It's going into to dealer next week so I can have more than one key. Then it's time for new tires. I've had a couple other rangers in the past. It's kinda weird hearing the V8 sound coming from my ranger.

Nice.............I want one

Most locksmiths can make and program an OEM key for you, and faster and less cost than a dealer
Just call and ask, they need a laptop with the add a key software
