it was nice coming off and i was glad i still had the seats in the back out. just unbolted, and raised it up. and take off all grounds etc. but yeah it was def. a great idea. somthn i could never do at home! hah

yeah the tires are already perty worn out so i would guess they will be slightly bald in a few days..i mean..month. i need new ones anyways!

maybe 20-30min. its went perty fast since the 3.0 was all out of it and no wires were attached to anything. so it was basicly the 6 body bolts

looking good man. It'll turn out really awesome.

My only thing with doing that to my truck is I don't think I could deal with seeing my truck with no cab on it..

Hey, I do everything on anything at my shop! I am in Brooklyn Park at 7901 West River Road. I can make you some headers, but that isn't much cheaper! PM me if you want!

Man that drivetrain is LONG! Are you going to run into driveshaft angle issues in the rear?

its long but the tcase still bolts to the same spot as the 3.0 one, the tail is prolly about 8" longer or so. but i think it should be ok. and it lines up perty damn good.

as for cost, all the parts cost me 1400, with alot of new things. and for labor, its basically a side project for Mike, the mechanic so itsa little labor fee and some beer at the end im sure haha

Did the BW1354 case come behind some of the explorers with v8s? What's the reason you went with the expedition case? Or did you have the 1350 tcase?
