Transfer Case Options and Questions

All,

Once upon a time and in a galaxy far away I was on these forums with the same name, and had swapped a V-8 from a '99 exploder to my '99 4x4 ranger using the stock exploder AWD transfer case. That was 7 years ago and my rig has been great since then, however, I'm thinking about swapping out the AWD case for a manual case. There is lots of info for going to the BW4406 case, but have any of you done a swap to the 1356 from a full-size Bronco? My main question revolves around drive-shafts. Which driveshafts etc did you use? I'd like to use this case as from what I understand I can use 1354 electric shift motors to shift in and out of 4wd/low. Did you all run into any other issues? I believe when we did the swap many moons ago, we used the stock explorer front driveshaft and the original Ranger rear (if memory serves correctly- that might be wrong).
