What is the normal operating temperature for a my 5.0? It tops out at 180*, and rarely gets above that temperature unless I let it sit idling without the fan on.

From my Mustang manual for the 302, it needs to run above 178* for all the sensors to work properly.

The oil pressure should be between 40 and 60 psi at 2000 rpms.

Good....mine steadies out at 50 psi around 2K, drops to no less than 35psi at idle, and peaks at about 70 psi when extremely cold at 2K.
