Icon5 wire harness help

i am stuck in connecting a 3 wire equalizer to my 2007 ranger wire harness to get power to it, possibly using an accessory lead switch.

i was using an in dash dvd player as my head unit. this player stopped ejecting discs, so i finally removed it. the player didnt have volume control, so i used the volume control that was on the equalizer. having removed the head unit, i just want to use the equalizer now with its auxilliary input. it has no power button so i need to apply power somehow.

i still have the wire harness that was installed (by a shop) with my original set up. i also have a ford wire diagram book, but i am still lost.

i am trying to connect a Clarion EQS746 equalizer. i have pictures of the connection for this in my 'temporary' album, per the connections image. also ive supplied images from my diagram book as harness and diagram. this item only has three wire connections. a ground, remote and positive 12 volt.

regarding the harness image, how do i connect this equalizer so that power is applied with the accessory lead switch; or even by just turning the ignition? is it possible to do this just based on the harness? or do i need to install a switch or do some other wire connections to the ignition?

thank you
