So im tryin to replace a old kenwood hu with a newer pioneer and no sound from speakers. Deck puts out, no fac amp and i have done hu many times before. Anyone got ideas or should i just run new wires. Been tryin to get thos figured out for days now. Pls and thnx

 

So the Kenwood made sound but the pioneer does not? I would check to see if you have a blown or shorted speaker. The newer pioneers have a safety feature to shut down the outputs if it sees a short.

 

I forgot to update this, sorry, i did find the problem finally and replaced the hu with a new one. The old pioneer i had shorted out and burned the speaker output lines on the oard internally. Was gonna be about $75 to fix so i junked it and $50 later had a new pioneer. Thank u for the reply and once again sorry for not updating sooner.
