Hello, I'm new to the forum but have owned my ranger for about a year now. When I bought it, the stock radio didn't work, so I put in an aftermarket radio I had in my shed and finally had sound in the truck. I bought the metra dash kit initially but after fighting it, I couldn't figure it out.

my question is (and I'm sorry if it's been asked and asked and asked before) does the 1994 and under ranger not require a dash kit? if not, how does it stay put? mine just moves around with bumps and often gets pushed in by itself. I am missing the radio metal sleeve thing and maybe a trim piece for the outside of the radio? any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you
