1995 Aftermarket Stereo Install Problem

Hi all, I just bought a 1995 Ranger XLT 3.0 last night, and today I'm upgrading the stock radio. I'm having an issue with determining what wires are for the speakers, I bought a harness, so I've already got power to my new deck. (The harness plugged in to give me power, but didn't have anything to plug into the speakers...)

I've already searched around from different sources and non of which seem to match up to what is in my truck.

It looks like the colors I have are:
Light blue/pink stripe
Light blue
Yellow
Tan
Green/ black stripe
Gray
Purple
Green/ red stripe
Orange/ black stripe
Black
White/ red stripe
Brown
Purple/ white stripe
Light green
White/ orange stripe
Light blue/ black stripe

The colors that the harness I attached to are:
Blue
Black/green stripe
Light blue/red stripe
yellow/black stripe
Black
Green/ purple stripe

If anyone can help me out that would be appreciated!!!

Should be there

Weird, they should be there. Normally the speakers are wired into that harness from stock, unless the vehicle has an aftermarket setup with the speakers run through an amp then maybe try to find the L and R wires. They look like rca wires

1995 Rangers could also have a separate stock factory amp, Premium Sound system, usually with CD Player in 1995

Ranger radio wiring diagrams here: https://therangerstation.com/tech_li...diagrams.shtml

Looks like you have an 8 pin connector for power and a 16 pin for audio, that would mean Premium sound system
Basic Radio just had 8 pin for audio and 8 pin for power

Factory amp is usually in passenger kick panel or behind glove box

If u just buy the harness adapter at auto store that plugs into the trucks stock harness It's usually Gray and Black harness and always usually has the speaker and power harness in the kit it would already align the colors for you the adapter end would color match the radios harness then solder or crimp . I would never hard wire the speaker leads without the trucks stock speaker harness its usually a headache and takes away from length needed to plug the rasio harness in and slide the deck into the cage..

IF You wanted to be certain just look at the speaker behind door panels you'll have a definitive color to go by for FL FR RL RR Speakers . You only need the 8 raw speaker wires 2 from each door and 3 wires power accessory and ground to Fully operate any Aftermarket radio
Anything else is just extra even if that truck has a Aftermarket amp which the Radio you are putting it will likely power the speakers "Wattage" way better .
