Tremor problems

Tremor problems

my ranger has the tremor package in it and if i turn the volume up past 33 with th sub on it makes a horrible cracking noise in all the spakers it doesnt do this all the time but most of the time....

Sounds like thety are blown, is it still under warrenty?

no its not under warranty unfortuneantly i havent even had a week yet i bought it used from a dealership

I would take it back and raise hell, you should have a 30 or 90 day warrenty thing on it, do you?

sounds blown. mine worked fine past 33 in my tremor.

no my mom tried to get them to give me a 30 day warranty but he wouldnt do it..he said he had went to low on the price of it so there couldnt be a warranty

that sucks, it sounds like they are blown, call around and see how much it would cost to replace, It would drive me nuts having that system and it being blown!

look up your local laws here in Tennessee you could take it back and make them fix it for not disclosing there was a problem. i think we have 30 days

yep, because you cant change or modify the sub setup. Ford made it not impossible. So if they cant fix it your gonna have to go completely aftermarket. And thats said from experience.

Don't two negatives make a positive?

Seriously though, look up the laws see what they say. Then ask Ford if the laws can't do anything. If they wnat more than you want to pay, just go aftermarket. You can get good systems for just a few hundred.

yea see if that falls under any lemon laws....the only problem would be proving it wasnt your fault...

lol, oops, i didnt even notice, hooked on phonics didnt work for me
