This is going to be a tight squeeze!
I have a 94' regular cab, and I had a diamond audio d6 10" sub stuffed between my explorer seats facing back. Unfortunately, the box shifted back and the sub wore a hole into the surround from hitting the back of the cab.
I decided on a whim to order an orion hcca 10.2 subwoofer, because I've heard and read that it is the only sub that can hit harder than a w7. I had 2 13.5 w7's in my mazda3 and I kinda miss it, so I'm trying to get as close as I can (with my allotted space).
My problem is going to be fitting the speaker. It gets here Wednesday, so I've began mocking up a box. It looks like my best bet will be pointing it down between the seats. It's xmax is 4", so it's going to need a lot of room. Luckily it only needs .5-.8 cubic feet.
Also I found out my hifonics amp is screwed :( so now I have to order a new amp.
I'll post pics when it's built later on this week, just wondering if anyone else has tried to fit a sub of this size in a regular cab. It's got a 9.7" mounting diameter, and it's a good bit wider(probably 11-12) and 8.7" deep.
I don't care if I have to remove the passenger seat. I WILL rock out with this sub one way or another!

that's the speaker.
wish me luck haha
