92 ranger audio problems

92 ranger audio problems

i hooked up a new system that includes 2 mtx jackhammer 10's with a alpine 350 or 400 watt amp with out a capacitor everything is hooked up right but when i turn the volume up a lil bit and the bass is hiting hard it makes my engine temp. hand rise up but if i turn the volume down the temp. hand goes back down if anyone has any idea what could cause this plz let me know....

ive never came accross a problem of that nature the only thing i can think of is whn it draws the power from the alternater it causes more stress on the engine but it wouldn't be that much were it would raise the temp
