im thinking about getting a avic d3 and i was wondering if it comes with everything to mount it or if you have to buy a mounting kit too.

I just installed a Kenwood DDX6019 in my 2001 I used an "American International double din dash kit there part # "FWH-598" Other than having to trim the radio surround a little on the bottom and top it fits perfectly. The mounting kit that came with the Kenwood was the standard sleeve type and didn't work.

That looks like it I think I paid $9.95 but it only had the bezel for the two singles so I had to cut out the middle bar. I think I payed 6 something for the wiring adapter.
