sub amp and power

sub amp and power

ok i got a new mtx 9500 the 44, cost me 855$, and the mtx te1501d, its a 1,650 rms at 3,000 peak,but i got it hook up to a 4 ohm so that make it 500 rms, with 0 gauge power wire, its loud but my alternator is to week for the sub amp, i dont know my alternator amperage, can any one tell me what it is i have a 94 ford ranger v 6 4.0 4x4 ext cab auto trans thanks

what year truck stock is like 90Amp i think

If you're pushing a sound system that is easily over $1000 you probably need a better alternator.

$250 for a HO Alt < $150 for a good second battery. Get a second battery.
