Well the day has come..im sorry to say..i started parting out my system time to go smaller..i sold one of my 1001.2 Clarion amps last night and im most likley gettin rid of the L7 12" too..my box is huge right now just gets in the way so im going to build a box for behind the pass side seat for..idunno yet maybe keep 1 L7 for it and sell the other..havent made up my mind yet.. but what do you guys figure for a 1 sub enclosure about 3 cubic ft behind the pass side seat...maurice is makng a new box also but i wanna beable to toss 1 jump seat back in..if anyone wants to show me pics or something do er id love to see what ideas you have..my old system...

Oh man, I bet that sounded great. I would say keep one of them. I got rid of my system and got some crappy sub. Cause I didnt want anything that loud. Well I soon realized that I missed my old set up, so I got everything back. But now I am building a ported box.

 

haha Evan i really do wish..only being 22 ive come to relize that i need room in this thing if im going to use it for work cant carry everything in the bed..aand i hate canopys..so ill have a 1001.2 Clarion amp for sale..and 1 Kicker L7 for sale....ill keep my type 2 components and the 700 watt amp powering them

Im in the same boat as you. I want a nice 12" behind the pass. seat so I can still throw stuff in the back and have one jump seat open. Any suggestions on boxes and sub. positioning?

 

well 1 12" is plenty enough an L7 would prolly be your best bet amazing sound and clean..i think id have teh box behind the pass seat or w.e one would like..would be about 3 cubic feet angled side piece so the sub sort points toward the driverside on a slight upward angle with a port on the top of the box..ill draw up some picstures and take measure ments today..

I only have 2 doors so I have a little bit more room to work with sense the seats go up and to the side. I've got a RF 1000 amp to power my audiobauhn ALUM12Q. Thanks for the advice on the box.
