I have a cobra 29 NW WX ST and I was wondering if I should get a diff. mike I see on www.cobra.com that they have a power mic, a dynamic mike, and a noise canceling mike? Could someone give a some info on these. Also what could I do to my CB as far as modifying it?

I wouldgo with the noise canceling mike!..just depends on what you want!

 

Noise cancelling is designed to reduce background sound and only pass the sound close to the mic (your voice). You do need to actually speak directly into the mic, no pushing the button with the mic on the dash and yelling.

The other bell & whistle mics are just gimicks in my opinion.
