CD stuck in radio

First post and tickled to be here.

Just bought a 2007 Ranger and found out today there is a CD stuck in the player. How do I get it out and is this a common problem?

Take it back to where you bought it and get them to fix it. If it was a dealer, be careful. Thee is a posting up at my dealer that says if it's a homemade cd w/a label. They will charge you. I forget if it was an issue that was covered under warranty or not.
If it can't be fixed, grab a unit outta the JY or upgrade.

dunno, take it out and bring it to either the dealer or bring it to whoever sold you the truck and say "make it right!"

I had this problem with a Lincoln LS I had. what I did was put a small bend in the end of a paper clip and very gently slide it in the who;d on the top of the CD and when I found the hold in the center turn the paper clip so the hook would grab the CD then i pulled it out really slowly and gently to not hurt anything. once it got past the start it would usually push the rest of the way out on its own. hope it helps.

I just had this problem occur today. My radio would read "eject error".

At first, it read "no cd" and wouldnt even try to eject the cd. I got frustrated with it on the way home....pressed the eject button and smacked it.....then the cd came out. lol.

my stock unit will click like a machine gun when accepting the cd then spit it out then pull it in then spit it back out over and over at least 10 times before it finally takes it. i usually hit mine too and it does the trick
