CD6 aux in?
I have this radio in my 2006 XLT.
If it has an aux in jack where would it be? Thanks |
My '07 had it in the center console, but it was the Pioneer system w/ sub in the console. Pretty sure on non-console trucks it should be down below the heater controls on the bottom part of the dash.

You didn't really give enough info....
Which particular CD6 radio is it? Does it have an "AUX" button on the radio's front panel? Do you have a 3.5 mm stereo audio input (ie, mini-headphone) jack somewhere below the radio, say, down near the truck's ash tray? How many, and which style of electrical connectors are on the back of the radio (ignoring the antenna)? Do you have anything plugged into them? If you happen to have an AUX button, and your radio has connectors on the back, except your vehicle has no AUX jack, then perhaps you can add one, and mount it anywhere. That's what I did, seen here: Ford Ranger 2008 Radio - Imgur |
My 03 CD-6, has the 20 pin jack in the rear that allows for a separate CD Player or allows for a USA Spec iPod/aux input device.
BUT I have no OEM Aux Input port. |
slug50,
Where did you go with this ? |
I didn't go any farther with it. May look at aftermarket or a later model Ford radio
