Changing out rear speakers in a 2004 4 door

My brother just had his panels off. If I remember correctly he just pried gently where there was resistance, but don't quote me on that. I know it was so he could swap out his rear speakers and wire up a box. Don't know if he ever finished though.

Hopefully someone with more experience on this than I will pipe in soon.

I'm surprised no one else has responded, especially considering I'm sure that others know.

Anyway, I'm heading to bed in a few. When I decide to roll my **** out of bed, if no one has responded with any confirmation, I'll go out and check myself. I need to tear apart them panels anyway, so I'll try and snap some pics.

Cheers!

I know the front door panels lift off, I wonder if the backs do the same.

I hear that, I keep wanting to go out and replace every thing and install my alarm, but I just have no free time, and when I do its dark... So we think they lift off in front and possibly the rear... are there any screws/bolts/clips I should watch out for (front and rear) I'm putting crossovers in the rear and components in the front.

Thanks!

Amanda

Just so everyone knows, yes the rear doors do just pop off, BUT make sure you get a tool from Checkers/kragen autozone, whatever for door panel removal, makes it a heck of a lot easier to put them back on! You have to take out all the little plastic tacks and put them back into the door then pop it back on! Didn't take too long to do, I ran extra wire so I can amplify the speakers later, but right now they are just running off the head unit. I put Crossovers (6x8) in the rear and hopefully Friday I can get the components in the front. I ran out of day light to get to them and have to work all weekend.

I just used the back of a hammer, (not the handle) and some bubble wrap, and pried it off, worked pretty easy, but for the 2004's im not sure if they are the same panel or not
