I also thought putting 8"s in the rear doors. If you fiberglas or sound deaden the junk out of the inside of the door it would be decent, also it should be sealed a little too. I have 12's and i'm looking for sound quality and my 5.25's in the front don't give me the mid bass i'm looking for. I highly doubt i'd do it but I have given it a thought. The door panel would have to be cut a little, rounded out to fit the 8, and maybe strengthened a little. I also don't feel like doing it because I would want to run them with a bandpass crossover, lower than my highs/mids and higher than my subs.
