so now that some piece of **** stole my radio and amp i need a new head unit......any ideas?

does that control my ipod and everything from the headunit..? i kinda want a flip screen that folds down and retreats back into the dash and **** and i will have an alarm so it will be a little safer

 

Yep, you have to get the iPod cable sometimes you can find deals that it comes with it. If you want a big screen go with a Pioneer Avic D3, thats what I'm putting in.

 

ya i have the cable already went they jacked the radio and amp they made sure to remove all the wires nicely so i have all the wires i just need the whole unit

 

i'd watch eBay, I see deals on there all the time.

i like pioneer headunits, they look cool and have a lot of features for the money

 

I just picked up a Kenwood KDC-X991 and it's unbelieveable. The display is brillant, controls your ipod, and your sound control is astonishing. Definitely worth a look...and oh yeah, it has it's own 512 mb of memory, and shows the album artwork on the screen.

 

how much did that run you? the price didnt show

 

I scored mine off ebay for 300 bucks. I went looking the other day out of curiousity and they were around 350 to 400 on there. Once I figure out how to post some pics, I'll put some up showing the artwork on the screen. And sorry about the dirt bag who stole your stuff, those kind of things **** me off royal.

 

This is what the deck looks like when it's downloading the artwork. In this one the text for the song is blury because it scrolls and the camera needed to have the shutter open a little longer to get the pic.





This is what the deck looks like while playing music from my ipod. The four lines of text can independently have their color changed to match your truck. I was able to match the stock red and green dash perfectly. Now my dash is blue, so the deck is blue.

thanks man i appreciate it...i got to looki into it all now got to find me some money cause what i really want is a flip up screen but they r expensive so ill end up just getting a deck
